“Inhabiting the Threshold” arises from a question: if we have never asked the sea to stop being deep, nor the sunset to stop burning, why do we believe we have to choose between one part or another of who we are? The line of gold leaf runs through the work as a symbol of God’s constant presence, reminding us that chaos and peace can also coexist within us.
